Four years in the making, Treading Water / Brebbal Ushtey is the second studio album from Biskee Brisht. It is a cinematic, deeply personal exploration of adulthood, mental health, and the vibrant resilience of the Manx language.

This is more than just an album; it is a creative bridge between two languages. After four years of recording and mixing, we decided that every story told on this record deserved to be heard in both English and Manx Gaelic. Working with renowned writer and translator Bob Carswell, we have created 12 original songs in two distinct versions, ensuring the soul and meaning of the lyrics remain intact across both languages.
