SOUND 101: The basics of Live Sound
Running over 2 nights, the Sound 101 course is an introduction into the basics of live sound.
The first night will cover sound from first principles: Microphones, speakers, cables, mixers, basic acoustics, speaker and microphone placement along with a basic guide to mixing.
The second night will involve practical demonstrations along with more mixing techniques, covering effects and processing.
Cost will be £10 a night, or £18 for both nights.
Held at the Centenary Centre on both nights.
